Pacific Coffee Company is Hong Kong's answer to Starbucks. A while ago, I tried the Starbucks affogato that was offered at Fashion Walk and really liked it. The shop is located on the ground floor of Midtown. It's not a very big shop but seats are fairly comfortable with a decent long table for large groups.

Two affogatos are offered. Vanilla and strawberry. You have the option of having it with expresso (what an affogato is) or chocolate milk (which technically NOT an affogato but I don't know why this is offered). Price is $48.

Vanila affogato with expresso ($48). Price was the same as the Starbucks one but size was larger. Not only was I given two scoops of ice cream (which was decent enough) but my shot of expresso was larger. So, if you are going for bang for the buck, this will offer you more for what you paid for as opposed to Starbucks. However, the coffee was not as hot as Starbucks so when I poured it over the ice cream, it didn't really melt well. There were crunchy chocolate balls. I preferred Starbucks crunchy caramel praline more as it gave it a more sophisticated texture.

What was weird was they had coffee jelly bits. I felt like I was drinking coffee from not serious coffee places like Share Tea or something. I didn't expect this at Pacific Coffee Company.

Personally, I didn't really like it. I didn't like the coffee jelly bits. If I wanted coffee jelly bits, I would have bought a coffee drink at Gong Cha. I won't order this again.
