行經皇后大道中、一間蚊型餐廳、如不留神好容易走過。平時毫不起眼、今天突然發現、緣份吧!枱櫈排排的放在又窄又長的長廊、行到盡頭別有洞天、一個小小露天位置可容立四人左右、屬三五知己的小天地。原想吃All Day Breakfast、無奈只有六、曰供應、唯有選午市套餐。套餐有數款、包飲品、如要餐湯或甜品需另加收費。磨菇忌廉汁意粉麵條是潤條麵、有彈力有嚼勁。磨菇份量不少、散發芬芳的菇味。雖然只是簡簡單單的橄欖油炒、但熱烘烘新鮮即做、加分不少。咖啡品質不錯、誘人的香氣、餘韻力强。 continue reading

週六午飯過後,原本想去搵神父傾計,點知摸門釘,所以就喺灣仔行咗兩個圈散吓步。下午茶時間一到,肚裡面o既為食蟲又開始蠢蠢欲動 ,行經小店「Coo Bakery & Cafe」,見門外o既餐牌上印有歡樂時光精選食物可享七折優惠,餐酒啤酒又買一送一,故不加思索就行咗入去。食店四周掛滿聖誕飾物,節日氣氛頗為濃烈。水吧雪櫃頂上o既雪人公仔更張開雙手,彷彿想黎個深情擁抱,熱烈歡迎小肥光臨咁,好溫馨 !餐室前方空間唔多,一邊為水吧及廚房。另一邊o既玻璃鏡架上則擺放滿酒品,牆邊延伸至走廊剛好排出一列二人散座。XO仔獨個兒坐喺度嘆白酒,感覺悠閒自得。 為怕空肚飲酒,未見神父已經醉咗 ,細佬特意叫咗一客「Coo黑松露炸薯條」黎送酒。粗厚o既薯條雖然唔係好脆口,不過勝在唔太油膩,而且薯條上可見粒粒黑松露蓉 ,芳香惹味,配上白酒仲好夾添。炸薯條原價$78,聽落真係有啲貴,不過用上o既黑松露份量唔少,下午三點後又有七折打,加上餐酒買一送一,坐喺度慢慢嘆都冇人趕 ,百幾蚊消磨上一個鐘都算幾抵玩。 continue reading

Discovered this new restaurant one day out of conincident, therefore decide to check it out and see what's on offer. Surprisingly it is a rather refreshing experience.With a casual yet modern decoration, it provide me and my friend a very relaxing environment, which is a very good beginning. The restaurant is a combination of both bakery and cafe, offering a large variety of food choices throughout the day, from freshly baked bread to snacks, sandwiches to a la cart menu with starter, main course and dessert to offer. Basically I can have breakfast, lunch and dinner all in this place, however I have decided to try out their dinner a la cart menu this time.The menu is simple, however it offer a selection of different style with an authentic twist.For starter to share (so that we can try more), we have decided to order the Calamari with Lemon Mayo, Parma Ham with Melon and the Mussels in White Wine sauce. All were very nicely done. Calamari being crispy on the outside but yet kept the freshness of the squid. Fresh mussels were used and it was cooked just spot on. And the exotic Parma ham and melon is a mouth watering excitement to freshen us up.After a nice entree to warm up our taste bud, we are ready for more.For Main course, we have decided to order the New Zealand Lamb Rack with barley and apple purée and Spanish Bellota Iberian Pork Loin with sautéed mushroom and black truffle sauce. It was definitely a mouth full of words to order however it didn't not disappoint us. Somewhere between the specifically sourced ingredient and the authentic seasoning, it had made our main course way better than we expected. The moist Lamb rack tasted extra refreshing when mixing with the barley and apple, and the Spanish Pork with black truffle is a beautiful blend of a well flavored meat and seasoning. Everything is carefully considered and at just the right touch.To wrap up a wonderful evening, a dessert is definitely a must in our case.For dessert, we have decided to go with the apple crumble with Vanilla Ice cream and a Tiramisu. It was a nice finishing to a wonderful evening and by the end of the evening we were both feeling the satisfaction from the whole experience. We would definitely return for more. continue reading

隨著皇后大東道附近的新樓盤落成,不少食店如雨後春筍般湧現灣仔大街小巷。是日放工,去了咖啡達人介紹的Coo。適時,店內只有一位疑似老闆娘的女士,播放著悠揚的音樂,感覺蠻不錯的。長方形的小店裝潢簡潔型格,大門口一側乃放置自家新鮮出爐的麵包,對面入牆深褐色木櫃內,則有數款曲奇出售。旁邊的冷凍櫃,放有沙律,甜品和飲品等。後方,除了一大開放式廚房外,就是一條長且窄的走廊,放有兩人座木枱凳。沿走廊向內走,就是一較寬廣且綠意盎然的露天用餐區。稍後還有飯局,還是來點輕盈的吧!與健談老闆娘談了片刻,決定要一下午茶$58,包一杯飲品和一件蛋糕。小妹最後另加$5,揀了一杯茉莉花茶配桃意式奶凍$68。熱情老闆娘對自家西湯甚為滿意,故請小妹飲一小杯南瓜湯。茉莉花茶Jasmine white tea乃選用德國出品的SiroccoTea,入口以香氣取勝。桃意式奶凍Peachy Panna Cotta(散叫$45/杯)頗大杯的,下層一半是幼滑奶味濃的奶凍,上層另一半則是攪拌至糊狀的桃蓉。為了增加口感,還有三片完整的香甜桃肉。個人而言,不太喜歡糊狀的桃蓉。此外,桃蓉味道較為濃烈,蓋過了奶凍和雲呢嗱籽的味兒,略感可惜!建議可稍減桃蓉的份量,繼而增加奶凍的份量。店家的南瓜湯質感略為未夠厚身,以清新蔬果味為主,走輕盈健康路線。據聞,南瓜湯乃以南瓜,紅蘿蔔,薯仔和薑等熬煮,故味道較為豐富且具層次,可吃出蔬果天然的甜味。然,薑味不是太過突出,估計大廚輕手之故。 continue reading
