It’s been long time haven’t write food comments, sorry for that tongue. Is a great chance for me to start it over and is Indian cuisine this time. Is kinda special for me since I have been working with Indians before and I fell in love with their spices and varies of the dishes. Some dishes look the same but the taste are completely different! I went to this restaurant for lunch with Ms. Lo and Mrs.Ng (is them again..my lovely pretty foodies). It feels like I am in a different regi...

Although I haven’t written about this place much, this is my regular canteen for Indian food. On this visit I had pulao rice, naan, butter chicken, aloo gobi, aloo tikki and my favourite chocolate lassi. Basically, this place reminds of East London and the curries are done just right. The butter chicken is my all time favourite because the sauce is creamy with tender chunks of chicken in it. Naan is soft with a nice chew to it.Aloo tikki is a delicious potato and vegetable patty ...

An Indian food maniac wanted to taste good Indian food in Hong Kong.  Tulsi and Wine popped up in my mind.I understood the maniac was a bit picky.  I thought the warm and inviting ambience should be satisfying. A chandelier hung at the middle of the ceiling, the stained fixtures, the cosy rich fabric tones, the light beige wood flooring and walls.   The golden framed mirrors and ethnical pictures brought the rich Indian culture back to this contemporary and tastefully eatery. ...

There are a lot of overpriced michellin star restaurants in town, such as tim ho...I dont wanna be picky, but some of them are really not that well worth to eat Today its an indian restaurant, eating with my wife here. I do think it has provided convenience as the just MTR nearby, I dont have to worry much about directions. We have ordered Oyster Masala, a very traditional sauce on cooked oyster, their osyter are tender and juicy, rich in tomato and basil flavour. The oyster itself h...

It is sad that there is only one Indian restaurant in Quarry Bay and the whole world goes there. Tried the Indian bento which features a few different curries and rice. It is quite a good deal but you are rushed for lunch and the place is noisy. Tried the fried rice which is a really good, very tasty and similar to Chinese fried rice but better.

This is a Michelin recommended Indian restaurant. Located at the back of kings road and take a while to locate this. The restaurant is bright with white wall which a bit unusual. Want some meat to fuel up. Can't decide should go for chicken or lamb. Waitress share us to take the mix tandoori which including two type of chicken, lamb kebab and also fish cube. I admit I m greedy and love this recommendation! One chicken is red and another is whiten. Actual they are all prepared ...

I usually don't fancy spicy food and curry but this time, I don't mind trying Indian food because the restaurant looks very decent and seems the food is kind of fushion with western dishes.  After all, I am that kind of person who always cannot resist new experience. When I saw the picture of the oyster in the menu, I had no hesitation to have a try because it is a very special indian style way of serving the oysters.  Masala gravy is often found in the indian menu but it is really c...

Went to Tulsi for a quick lunch because the food comes fast.Had naan and a bindi masala because I didn’t feel like having any meat that day. ++++++++++++ naan:It was a race against time to eat it before it cools down because it tastes the best hot with a crisp , chewy and warm. ++++++++++++ bindi masala:This was viscous pieces of okra and delicious tomatoes cooked together, it was quite spicy but went well with the naan bread. ++++++++++++

Just wanted something special on a special day. Yogurt seems a must drink to go with curry.  I found this yogurt base Mango Lassi in the menu matches my choice. The light orange colour gave a cheerful start for the meal. The fresh mango drink mingled with yogurt aroused appetite.  I found the ice were in a slightly long dough shape--so interesting.I tried my favourite Samosa first.  There were 3 in a dish. The crust was very very crispy and hot.  The cone-shap...
