To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 華星冰室係出名好多明星喜歡嚟幫襯嘅茶餐廳。早餐必食沙嗲牛肉公仔麵, 公仔麵上桌時,味粉同麻油係自己加, 方便調教鹹淡味道, 湯汁已半凝成琥珀色膠質,公仔麵在醬汁裡泡得微脹,牛肉片薄得透光,裹著一層濃稠的沙嗲醬,是標準的港式味精快感。多士烤得焦脆,咬下時牛油從蜂巢狀的氣孔滲出,香脆美味。雙蛋要了「反蛋」,蛋黃一戳即破,流淌的蛋液混著醬油,是最樸實的安慰。凍檸檬茶茶底夠濃,檸檬片沉在杯底,戳幾下酸味才緩緩釋放,甜度剛好平衡澀味。 這頓早餐不過50蚊,冰室裝修懷舊,富有濃濃嘅港式茶餐廳情懷風味。 continue reading

清晨的太子華星冰室,人聲鼎沸,沙嗲牛肉一丁早餐,沙嗲醬夠濃,牛肉片厚薄適中,醃得入味,口感軟嫩不柴,帶微微焦香,可惜份量稍嫌吝嗇,僅五六片浮沉湯中。出前一丁煮得剛好,彈牙不爛,可惜湯底偏稀,辣度亦溫和,未夠「惹味」。 亮點在於隨餐的多士——多士烘得酥脆,牛油融化滲透,簡單卻滿足。奶茶茶底醇厚,甜度適中,確是水準之作。整體而言,沙嗲牛一丁未達驚艷,但配搭經典港式早餐組合,仍算穩陣合格之選,若路過可試。 continue reading

嗰日咁啱有優惠券,就去咗旺角間華星冰室度食嘢啦,都好耐冇食,對上一次都差不多兩三年前了🙈🙈華星冰室旺角店係超人氣地道茶餐廳,以八十年代港風同明星加持著稱。必試招牌黑松露炒蛋多士,不過嗰日我冇嗌,就叫咗鹹牛肉蛋包,出到嚟竟然係心型💙常餐組合如火腿通粉、牛油多士同炒蛋都好出色,鍾意佢個多士夠厚,奶茶夠香濃順口,雖然人多排隊但出餐極快,地方偏窄但氣氛熱鬧,初嚟報到或返嚟懷舊都一樣滿足,早餐、午餐、下午茶都啱食,真正平民美食,CP值高。整體我會比80分💙🥨 continue reading

去了下午茶,點了凍檸水和凍華田,超好喝。現在手搖店林立,大家都不記得茶餐廳的優點,就是親民,便利,方便,地點好,座位又舒適,我很喜歡,不會有用餐時間限制,可以悠閒聊天渡過一個愉快下午。價錢很超值,比手搖便宜,但環境好,可以座得很舒服,然而質素一點也不差,遠比想像中好,點了少冰和正常甜,雖然貌似少冰,但是有它的理由在,因為這樣喝起來才夠冰涼,而且味道足,甜度剛剛好,味道很濃郁,大愛,神奇的是喝到最後一口仍然夠味。 continue reading
