舊派法國菜。選料足本+簡單制作+ 親民服務。ausone今次去食嘅呢一間平民價有質素的跑馬地 ausone法國餐廳,SET DINNER $298起, 包括蒜茸包、頭盤(6揀1)、湯(4揀1)、主菜(約10揀1)、甜品(5揀1)、飲品,當中有些選擇係需要加錢我揀咗必點鵝肝。"厚切"法國鵝肝選用頂級鵝肝,香煎後外脆內嫩,油份也剛好。簡單又好味!我剛始終要切口啲先可以食到個種感覺!呢度選料真係落足本,但其實我自己覺得有少少浪費左鵝肝嘅油份,如果將伴隨嘅沙律變成蘋果醬同多士就會不一點也不浪費啦!主菜選了一個美國安格斯肉眼扒,我諗塊應該係加大版嘅牛扒囉,連我呢個牛魔王見到都頭都暈埋!大到我諗要兩個女仔一齊share先食得晒,選了medium,牛味香濃,簡單咁樣煎個兩邊就令到肉汁可以留很牛扒內。我覺得下次如果佢哋知道係女仔食嘅話可以唔好咁大份啦因為有少少浪費呢!另外一個主菜我哋就選咗煎都化坊利,其實都化方利就係法國正式左口魚,坊間有好多餐廳都會用普通中國入口嘅左口魚來做呢一個菜,但係ausone講明所有嘅方利都係用正式法國歺用的品種架!好嘅食材只需要輕輕咁樣簡單嘅煮法就能帶出佢嘅優點,呢條方利好大條啊!大到有啲誇張大過隻碟。。而且煎出嚟好香口肉質鮮嫩鮮甜。好味。推薦!甜品我揀咗焦糖布甸,呢度嘅焦糖布甸係凍食嘅即是比較貼合西方人嘅食法啦!焦糖布甸好滑好聯而且雲呢拿味同蛋味都香濃!唔知點解近年開始越來越多人覺得一啲西餐係要整得好刁鑽或者很烹調上邊要考好多功夫,但係其實好嘅食材只係需要得好簡單嘅烹調方法,已經係可以得出到食材嘅美味!呢度嘅嘢食其實全部都比較簡單,但係就係因為簡單我哋先可以食到好嘅食材嘅原味。另外呢度令到我覺得好有驚喜,最驚喜嘅大老闆真係十分之好人啦,一坐低就已經同我地講東講西,老闆年紀唔係好細架啦!但係呢佢講嘢又好生鬼,會願意同我地分享佢多年來嘅心得,可能會侍應同老闆嘅衣着其實都好輕鬆感覺唔係好正式嘅法國大餐,但其實仔因為呢一種輕鬆先可以令到呢一餐飯食得更加開懷架嘛! continue reading

每月家庭聚餐,今回選了一間在跑馬地開業的法國菜。因人數有三十多人,預早已向餐廳取了當晚餐牌及點餐,好等餐廳妥善安排。我們的人數基本上已可坐滿餐廳,加上是母親節前一天,奇怪是餐廳竟不用我們下訂金,有膽識!餐廳原本只安排了下層全層給我們,但坐處明顯十分擠迫,經交涉下,餐廳再安排多一張於一樓的六人枱給我們才有較鬆動的位置。餐廳裝潢普普通通,不算豪華。天花因設有多盞射燈,所以比一般法國餐廳光猛,亦因如此,坐處比較悶熱。人齊起菜,因餐廳廚房不大,人數不多,縱使早已預先㸃菜,安排還是有㸃混亂,上菜很慢,惹來一㸃不滿是可預期的。可取的是,店主時刻能保持耐性笑容,對於一些小節亦不計較,服務評分上追回一定分數。下回餐廳再接大訂單,應再加強人手安排,出菜流程亦應詳細考量。必要時寧可重質不重量,限制同一時間的接待量,以保品質口碑。說回是晚美食,先來的是蒜蓉包,即製即食,出品熱辣,香脆惹味幾好食。結果我們 encore 了多輪令整間餐廳的蒜蓉包售罄。前菜筆者試了香煎法國鵝肝及煙肉焗鮮蠔兩款,鵝肝呈陝長型,咬下外脆內嫩,肝香濃郁,甚有水準。焗蠔經焗煮後仍保足夠水份,不乾硬,蠔味鮮甜。鮮蠔面上灑上煙肉芝士醬,半溶芝士香口,可作錦上添花之用。餐湯野菌湯,菌香口味合預期,湯質略為厚身,OK喇!焗酥皮龍蝦湯,酥皮口感稍實,有欠酥化。龍蝦湯濃郁度普通,湯中無龍蝦肉,和野菌湯一樣,湯質過厚,誇張㸃帶有「一舊舊」的感覺。主菜先嚐燒西班牙伊比利黑豚豬柳,相比其他主菜如牛扒、羊架及魚塊等,豬柳份量較細小。輕輕切開豬柳,肉色呈微微粉紅,剛熟剛好,口感鬆軟,肉香亦算不錯。另一主菜美國安格斯肉眼扒,出品很大塊,約五六成熟度,切開有肉汁溢出。話雖如此,肉眼口感沒預期般軟腍,並帶點韌,幸而還在可接受範圍。牛味方面,肉眼部分應較濃香,出品味道亦恰如其分,整體算上中等質素吧!甜品薑汁焗疏乎里,疏乎里焗起賣相都算企身脹滿,但質感較預期更為低密度,入口似風溶掉,薑汁給力亦不算特別明顯。另一甜品法式燉蛋,燉蛋滑度不足,有點實,而蛋香則OK。或許甜品出菜前已閒置一段時間,甜品食感亦帶㸃過氣。套餐最後以咖啡茶作結,餐廳用上的茶葉咖啡豆都算不俗,大家都飽吃而歸。 continue reading

晚餐時間7點,一行3大1小入到去AUSONE,時間尚早,店內沒有其他食客。Ausone地下有廿個位左右,樓上仲有一層,餐廳燈光柔和,有酒架等,梳化櫈上方擺放咗一些時裝飲食流行雜誌。法國菜 SET DINNER $298起, 包括 蒜茸包、頭盤(6揀1)、湯(4揀1)、主菜(約10揀1)、甜品(5揀1)、飲品,法國菜依個價錢唔算貴喎;但要留意, 當中有些選擇係需要另外加錢的。老闆係愛好紅酒嘅人,佢成日問我地飲唔飲紅酒,可惜我地全部唔好。老闆親自為我地落單,老闆幾NICE,有人頭盤揀沙律,老闆好老實話:「揀第二樣啦,食沙律咁益我。」 第一樣係蒜茸包,人人有份(A) 頭盤可6揀1 香煎法國鵝肝(要另加錢,好似加40蚊)菠菜或煙肉焗鮮蠔(要另加錢, 好似加20蚊)野菌焗田螺配薯蓉 焗酥皮龍蝦湯龍蝦肉焗酥皮鮮蠔湯燒西班牙黑豚肉柳燒法國走地雞燒美國安格斯肉眼扒未食到甜品, 各樣都好滿意 !堂堂法國餐廳居然用金色膠碟來放甜品, 真係扣晒分, 攪到DOWN GRADE晒......若改用隻白色玻璃碟會好好多, 而擺設款款都係放D鮮果, 略欠誠意... 太普通甜品店出品 !焗軟心朱古力餅配雪糕 (要另加錢, 好似加15蚊)雖有些少流心, 但蛋糕質地唔夠實在, 朱古力唔夠香濃 鮮果拿破崙 酥皮可以再焗得香酥點總觀甜品果部份, 全部都有好大既進步空間..... continue reading

Thanks for recommendations from friend. Find a good French restaurant in Happy Valley.Food: good quality with fair price5 courses but only $298Tried 3 courses with same price in TST but the quality is not that good1) Wild mushroom soup. Sure is not canned soup coz I can taste the mushroom with herb. Perfect match with the bread2) Snail w/ wild mushroom and mashed potatoes: Snail is big and taste is good. Not too oily and salty3) Oyster Risotto: Oyster is big and fresh! 4) Fresh fruit Napoleon: fruit is fresh and sweet. Several layers of fruit in this dessert5) Tea: though it is just tea big. Surprise that they still got several options for tea: English breakfast, mint, chamomile etc It's also a nice place for wine lover. No corkage. We bring 3 bottles of wine. Staff not only open the wine for you but also give you the suitable wine glass without asking. Restaurant owner is so nice and sociable. We can talk about French food and wine.It's a quite place to chitchat with friend and enjoy wine. Highly recommended to friend continue reading

原本是去 i__ 賣意粉的店食意粉,但佢沒設座位.見斜對面有間餐廳, set dinner $298 有頭盤 湯 主菜 甜品 飲品, 又唔算貴, 便去試下.餐廳不大, 約有20個位, 差不多滿座, 但唔知係咪無法開冷氣, 有少少焗焗地原來仲有樓上, 唔知坐咗幾多人, 但講嘢超大聲, 超嘈, 好似係大排檔入後後, 只送上set dinner餐牌, 可能只有套餐, 但好多食物都要加錢2人進餐, 叫了些不同的食物, 試多幾款先送上2片蒜蓉包, 有些少over cooked 的味道, 而且有少許酸味, 怪怪的頭盤: 焗田螺薯蓉, 味道ok         白酒煮青口, 10pcs 細細隻, 味道唔錯見頭盤不錯, 還以為會有驚喜 點知.................湯:    野菌忌廉湯, 有菌粒, 但唔知落咗D咩, 有少少酸, 仲超奶奶味, 又咸, 未飲過咁難飲嘅野菌湯        雜菜湯, 個樣好正常, 味道也正常, 但酸了些主菜: 六成熟的肉眼扒, 味道普通, 但最少8成熟        鮮什菌意大利飯, 個樣好正常但聞唔到香味, 中間見到好濕, 飯有少許生米咁, 好似未煮熟就送上,         芝士味道好差, 未食過咁難食嘅意大利飯甜品: 鮮什果拿破倫, ok         薑味梳乎梨, 賣相ok, 聞到好香的薑味, 以為好正, 點知好失望, 應該好似D氣咁好鬆,          但只可以食面的一層, 中間完全唔掂, 好似未焗好, 仲係一"pat"嘢咁           無留意, 原來仲要+$15 continue reading
