慶祝另一半的生日,搜尋餐廳美食發現此推介,環境不錯…決定預早訂枱  日子終於到了,餐廳下午來電確認訂枱,順道一問慶祝生日會否有特別服務? 沒料到對方很有禮貌的回應可盡量安排……入座時見食客不多,只得3至4枱,可能是星期一晚吧!半自助餐menu,沙律吧前菜,凍海鮮及南瓜忌廉湯,擺放食物自助bar位置不多,可能由於是晚顧客流量少,所以 自助餐選擇份量也很少,不多補充! 但食物也算新鮮, 凍蝦,響螺,青口也算大隻 主菜選擇了慢煮燒春雞及燒肉眼扒: 賣相與味道也不錯,餐單也包了每位餐酒一杯(紅白酒任選)吃完主菜後,果然送上驚喜……,他們花了些少心思… 推砌了一客甜品及特別調教了一杯cocktail送上祝賀生日快樂的心意!整體而言,各服務員非常友善,態度誠懇有禮,用餐感覺良好 只可惜自助吧的甜品及生果補充略嫌不足! continue reading

I live around the corner from Fresh Modern Kitchen and had been keen to try the set lunch here for the last few weeks. I was happy I finally did.There is a set lunch menu with a range of dishes ranging from $130 - $150. All dishes come with soup, a buffet of charcuterie and salad and tea/coffee and dessert. Or you can have just the soup, buffet, tea/coffee and dessert for $118.The soup of the day was cream of cauliflower, it was very tasty and I probably could have had a second bowl of it. I opted for the pan fried sea bass fillet as a main, it came with thin slices of potato beneath the fillets. The dish was perfectly cooked with the skin on the fillet very crispy and flesh moist.My friend had the spaghetti with shrimp and wild mushroom. The aroma of pesto coming from this dish as it was put down on the table made me think I will come back to try this dish. The portion of this dish was more generous than the sea bass.The coffee was good and a exquisite but small portion of chocolate brownie was served for dessert. The brownie came with a passionfruit (I think) coulis and some small bits of strawberry which tasted as if they had been marinated.I will definitely go back to Fresh Modern Kitchen to try some of their other dishes. continue reading

今日午餐約了2位同事去食這間餐廳. 預先已訂了位,所以一去到就有位.午膳時間人流不多,環境清靜舒適,餐廳員工也很親切.午餐餐牌每個星期轉一次, 有5-6款, 去面書到可找到每週餐單.Semi-buffet 前菜及餐湯任食,再配以主菜連甜品及飲品,加一後每位約$150左右(是乎你主菜要乜), 另也可只要前菜作餐食.前菜選擇雖唔多,都係啲沙律菜,沙律配料,但特別之處冷盤有蝦同螺肉, 兩樣都很鮮甜, 菜及配料都好新鮮湯-忌廉洋蔥湯, 超級creamy, 同事話好飲餐前還有每人1片有果仁的麵包,呢個真係好味,口感好好.我地叫了魚同豬. 兩款都好好味魚款-配以混合了香草既薯蓉,上面放了煎香了既魚塊,仲有少許配菜豬款-賣相出到黎,唔講仲以為係牛黎,配以混合了牛油既薯蓉同蘆筍, 口感唔錯甜品-今日係甘筍蛋糕, 味道偏甜,但都好味呢間餐廳夜晚都做Semi-buffet Dinner, 同午餐模式一樣, 但款式會比中午多同豐富. 另如嗜酒的,更可join佢地既happy hour時段.整體,係中上環區,這價位對於普通打工仔來說,算是中至中上位, 但可值得一試. continue reading

首先係大盤Seafood Platter😱有生蠔、蟹腳、蝦、翡翠螺等等等等等等等。全部海鮮都好新鮮,鮮甜又肥美,食到Lamlam脷😋呢間餐廳新開兩三個月左右,最近推出新菜單、新優惠😝299蚊有一大盤優海鮮,重送多一大支白酒,同區黎講,真係幾抵食!然後係黎到呢度必點既牛角包!估到牛角包入面夾住咩嗎?開估:北京片皮鴨😱Fusion既野,一係就9唔搭8,一係就好似呢個咁,擦出新火花👍牛角包個本質已經係世界級,酥脆無比,牛油味香濃,夾住皮脆肉嫩既片皮鴨,再點一點旁邊既甜麵醬,真係估你唔到!再試試大隻到無朋友既蜆!蜆唔係得個殼,蜆肉都好大隻!十分Juicy,一咬落去,已經爆到成口都係汁!正!個汁亦無馬虎,有好香濃既蒜頭同羅勒味,可以用黎點麵包都一流!呢度既沙律令我忍唔住要幫手清碟!加左美國紅石榴、柚子、血橙,酸酸甜甜,的確超級refreshing!比起一般加甜醋、柚子醋既更為特別!酸薑帶子又係fusion菜,帶子極級滑溜、新鮮,配上酸薑,一口KO!呢度既長通粉同扁意粉都煮得正宗,口感偏有咬口,唔會太腍太軟,剛剛好。蕃茄味同呑拿魚味都調得好濃郁特出,汁好惹味。上面既龍蝦同蟹腳,亦無overcook,肉質依然鮮嫩!牛扒大約係七成熟,但都無韌,依然嫩滑富牛味。但我最欣賞既,係旁邊既紫薯蓉!一般都只會用普通薯蓉,呢度用上紫薯。而且紫薯蓉十分清甜幼滑,令人耳目一新!就算飽都忍唔住要不停再食!最後到甜品。雖然唔係呢度既主打,但水準都唔錯。藍莓芝士蛋糕好軟滑,芝士用料上盛,食得出好香濃既芝士味道。Creme brulee既焦糖面有燒脆,內裏嫩滑,但cream味可以再濃d! continue reading

Went here to check out this new seafood place which is just round the corner from the Quinary.The menu is basically seafood and meats so here was what we had.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★Virgin bloody mary:I loved the salty foam on top that was made of Konbu because it was just fun to drink since you get foam on your nose every time you drink it.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★Mini seafood platter:Started with oysters, crab legs, prawns, balman bugs and whelks.All of them were fresh but my favourite had to the Balman bug which looks the wrong way round and tastes like a tender lobster tail.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★Scallop Carpaccio:Scallop Carpaccio, sweet pickled scallion, Grapefruit dressingLemon grass lovers will love this as it is heavily topped with lemon grass and you can smell and taste it infused into the scallop carpaccio.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★Red Clamsan-fried live Red clams with garlic and fresh basil.These were huge and sweet with a lovely basil aroma.I loved the big shells because they were great for holding the broth that the clams were in because the broth was delicious as well.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★Croissant with Peking duck:Croissant with Peking duck, leek, baby cucumber.This was amazing!
