From the outside the ambiance looked nice but there were no more seats downstairs so we were lead upstairs. This is a HK style french restaurant, geared for people who do not know what french food is. We should have left before we ordered. There was a set menu available for HK 260 for a 4 course meal. There was soup, appetizer, main and dessert. I ordered the french onion soup and it was such a disappointment even before I tasted it. There  was no melted cheese on top of the soup ...

They tried serving French cuisine with fine dining, but the ambience, service and food were far below authentic French Fine Dining.  It appears to be a Hong Kong styled French restaurant.  We were led to the seats on the 2nd Floor through another entance of the building.  All hot foods, such as the snails, the soup (shrimp bisque), were not hot at all.  The fish smelt a bit stinky. Most of the other food tasted just OK, but the desert was good.  In all, over priced ...

We ended here on a ordinary monday. We know that our expat dinner card was valid here. With that card we get the second main course for free. There was no table left anymore, but we could sit at the bar. The light were very bright above the bar, we asked or they could put them softer, but that was not possible. We had both a very nice salad as a starter and the salads were really salads. Sometime you end up with a salad and then you miss the salad, but those starters were good! We ...

My friend and I visited this restaurant for the first time on 12 December 2013. I picked this restaurant because I had intended to pick one well-known for French cuisine - this one poped-up in the search with 1) a French name; and 2) 125 people thumbs-up for their previous experience, registering the most people thumbs-up among all the 15 candidate restaurants. We arrived at the place around 19:20 - no reservation but seated immediately on the 2nd floor. The overall environ...

Went here for a hearty lunch. The place is small and cozy. The food was well executed, both flavor and presentation. And the price is affordable. You can get a 3 course meal under 150HKD. Reserve a table in advance or you may have difficulty getting in.Shrimp brique was creamy and rich. Even though the bowl was small, I couldn't eat the whole bowl.Duck breast: delicious entree, the thinly sliced breast pieces were tender and moist. Really appreciate the mango sauce on top of...

Soho is one of the chic districts that could manifest the exoticism of Hong Kong. There are a variety of restaurants respectively serving French, Italian, Mexican, Greek and even Nepal cuisine. How well is the food? My friend J and I started off a journey at SOHO, trying to find the answer by ourselves. This restaurant was our first stop. We strolled along the south of Hollywood Road with no fixed destination in mind. Noticing that there were some customers in this...

First of all, when I called for booking, the waitress was very rude, by not asking me my preference reservation time and just told me straight away they were fully booked. This is so NOT professional. We arrived there ontime, ordered 3 courses meal x2. 1. escargot, onion soup, duck with foie gras. 2. salad, duck breast, ginger souffle. Among the 6 dishes, we are only happy with the onion soup. All dishes are cooked in Chinese flavor. Well, it's overall a good price dinner but th...

Yumyum! Had the 3 courses dinner. ASparagus with crabmeat, quite cheesy and rich. Delicious. Btw the bread they provide is not bad. Nice crunch with soft center. For main course I had the duck leg confit which was surprisingly good! Nice crispy skin and the leg meat was flavorful~ smile For dessert, a bit disappointed with the souffle.. had the ginger flavor and it wasn't very well made. Service is quite good. Courteous staff. Will def come back and try their other entree...
