睇完<我的家在紫禁城> 展覽, 有d 肚餓.. 朋友仔話見過open rice 介紹呢度既小食唔錯, 結果四周搵下先~~好快就搵到了, 叻叻~~~1/ 炸銀絲卷: 原本打算要炸鏝頭, 但因為早陣子先食左, 決定食銀絲卷啦, 其實都差唔多姐~~~ 外脆內軟, 正呀!!2/ 上海小籠湯飽: 鋪頭都名叫湯飽皇, 無理由唔試湯飽呢~~~ 果然入面好juicy, 好燙口, 不過好好味~~3/ 紅油炒手: 雖然我地都唔食得spicy, 但係會鍾情紅油炒手.. 呢度又ok wo~~ 唔太spicy~ 而且肉汁豐富tim~overall 都係好味道, 無介紹錯~~~

3.冲爆羊肉 5記得幾$. 同好多京葱一齐抄,好香羊味!如果5喜食羊的人,可叫冲爆牛肉.应該一样咁掂!


4.叉子燒餅68$套! 入面有大大碗湯,可要木須肉湯(較清)or酸辣湯.我要左後者!超足料,5錯!至於個燒餅叧跟一碟小抄"將碟小抄D野塞入个燒餅度食!几特別!但浄食THIS 5夠飽的!味道算5錯!

終於今日有機會跟同事一起吃午餐。早就想到來這裏吃湯包,就提議到此醫肚。$28一籠四隻,價錢相宜,點一籠取代午飯。可能是午飯時間較少客人點這蒸點,而它需要多些時間蒸,等了十分鐘它才冒著蒸氣出現。此湯包體積比小籠包稍大,有蛋糕紙杯(?!)防黐底,可輕易夾起。皮做得夠薄,但夾起時仍未因湯汁和肉餡的重量而穿爛。在我拍完照後不小心將湯包掉下,它亦無穿無爛。咬開上面尖頭品嚐湯汁,肉味不濃但也不算淡,而且不太覺得有味精(吃完整籠良久也未渴)。肉餡很鮮美,沒有被蒸得過老而變實。一口氣清掉四個湯包,也有七分飽。不錯不錯。

點了客飯餐($38)獅子頭份量偏少,只有一球,旁邊伴有少量小棠菜獅子頭偏軟身,味道正常酸辣湯夠酸夠辣,吃得出辣是源自胡椒粉的辣,料都頗多,有香菇絲,旬絲,蛋絲等~挻開胃的!菊花雪梨茶好夠凍,有淡淡的菊花與雪梨味,好飲呀!

今晚只有我和老公兩人吃飯,突然好想吃小籠包,不過屋企附近又沒有好評如潮的「鼎泰豐」,也沒有近期冒起得頗快的「金牌小龍」,醒起濱海街有一家家庭式經營的小館子,網上食評很不錯,決定到這裡試試。我們到達時約下午六時許,店內一個客人也沒有,侍者(大概就是老闆娘吧)熱情地遞上餐牌,還叫我們慢慢看,不用急。環顧四周,發覺店內磨沙玻璃和牆上貼着的大都是上海菜式的名稱,不會混七雜八,看來會是一間正宗的上海菜館。本想翻開菜牌,但想起有食評提過的錯別字,特意看看有沒有改善,其中「撚」手小菜、雞「煨」麵是更正了,但「泡」製、「湯飽皇」依舊,看來是店主想保持某些風格吧。上海湯包 ($26) -- 既然這店主打湯包,當然要叫番一籠,其實所謂上海湯包亦即是小籠包。正宗的小籠包是以新鮮豬肉加入上湯作為餡料,外面包上一層薄皮,包皮的標準一般規定要有十八摺,而包頂的摺口要厚度適中,包皮則要夠薄,不易夾穿,才不會令湯汁流失。至於這裡的鎮店名物湯包,一籠四大隻,隻隻如加大碼般,一口咬開包皮,湯汁馬上湧出,可惜湯汁熱度稍遜,幸好入口豐沛鮮味。包皮雖然未算晶瑩剔透,但充滿彈性,就算夾著包頂,左右搖晃,包皮也不沒有穿口,而肉饀嫩

鱔糊炒拉麵 (38) -- 其實我一向愛吃黃鱔,貪其有口感,兼且袪濕補血,不過這碟鱔糊拉麵,鱔糊份量看來頗為吝嗇,鱔條寥寥可數,連爽口的銀芽也少得可憐,幸好炒得沒有一般上海菜館那麼油膩,因為我最怕那種炒出來整個碟都是油的。可惜芡汁味道唔夠濃郁,全沒濃稠香氣,甜度亦欠奉,整碟最出色的反而是拉麵,據說這裡的麵是店主自家手拉的,所以麵條做得有咬口兼彈牙,也算不錯。

炸銀絲卷 ($14) -- 這個銀絲卷是新鮮即炸的,放上檯時賣相看來不差,外皮色澤金黃,入口也算香脆,惟美中不足的是內裡銀絲做得未夠細緻工整,比較容易散出來,幸好以這個熱辣辣的炸物,配上甜甜的煉奶,入口香軟酥脆,不覺油膩,確是一個滋味的小吃。

高力豆沙香蕉球 ($24) -- 愛甜的我當然要叫番個甜品,高力豆沙是京菜的一道甜品,在香港算是很有名,很多人也喜愛吃,「高力」是京菜的一種烹調方法,將蛋白打泡,打至企身,然後加上麵粉攪拌成糊狀,就是「高力」,配上各種材料,可以做成小菜或甜品。至於這個高力豆沙香蕉,據老闆娘稱,就是以豆沙和香蕉做餡,蛋白麵粉做外皮,搓成球型後,放到油鍋去炸,炸至金黃色,最後在上面灑上糖霜。做這甜點時,油溫要控制得非常好,否則會很容易失敗。此外,麵粉和蛋白的比例也要憑師傅的經驗,不然降溫後會收縮變少,影響外觀和味道。這個豆沙香蕉球,咬下去軟綿不靭,糖霜入口即溶,有豆沙的香,香蕉的甜,全部餡料恰如其份,甜而不膩,差點忍不住一個接一個的吃。

其實這裡食物質素整體不錯,老闆娘溫文有禮,加上菜牌上仍有很多誘人的菜式如山東手撕雞、紅油抄手等未試過,相信找日定必再訪。

涼伴小黃瓜 -

This is the proper 用刀拍嘅黃瓜, not the sliced one, so the texture is a little bit better and also absorbs more sauce flavouring. This is refreshing but the sauce is weak. 4/5

湯包皇 -

A larger version of a Xiao Loong Bao, this had quite a bit of soup inside. The soup was quite weak though, nowhere near as sweet as the ones in other shops. The meat also had too much alcohol taste in it, and the pork meat wasn't very good. Overall this was just average. 3/5

SHANGHAI WONTON & TAN TAN MEIN -

The wontons are ok-good, very lean meat used too with some blended veggies. The Tan Tan Mein's broth initially looks very clear in my photo - yet, this is the older Hong Kong style of eating Tan Tan's. The sesame sauce is actually right at the bottom, so the customer needs to mix it from bottom up to let the sesame paste catch onto the noodles and also diluted into the soup itself.

The good thing is that it had real sesame taste here (not just peanuts). The bad news is that its not enough, as the overall soup was too thin in consistency. The noodles are Hand - Made in this shop, and they are very good indeed. Great texture and noodles taste. Overall this Tan Tan Mein is enjoyable, but not perfect. 3.8/5

排骨菜飯 -

The Porkchop are not good to be honest. Its dry and overly treated chemically, they were left unfinished. That contrasts with the very good quality 菜飯, which unlike the past when it was aromatic from all the additional pork oil mixed in, nowadays you'll be lucky to get ANY taste out of them. Luckily, they put in a lot of veggies in the version here, so it felt green and healthy. Not overcooked either, good bitey rice grains. Pity about the pork. 3/5

山渣水 -

This tasted like a 酸梅茶 in a way, as it had a smokey flavour! 4/5

CONCLUSION:

Noodles here are hand made and worth a visit alone. The much lauded Large Xiao Loong Bao was barely ok compared to today's standards. Other stuff seem Hits and Misses. Nevertheless - its not a bad little shop.

steam vegetable dumpling and a DAM DAM noodles.

Soy milk tasted average, nothing special
First came the noodles, which looks quite different from the other we have tasted.
usualy the soup is veri dense and thick.
This soup is rather runny, and not as spicey.

湯包 looks good. 4 it comes in.
all 4 were fill with soup.
although one has already burst and the soup had run dry. The other 3 were filled with soup, and did not seem to break.was good indeed

The vegetable dumpling was very nicely made. i dont recommend this one if you are a meat lover or prefer your dumplings to be very juicy as this dumpling is very raw withvegetable.

公眾假期期間還要返工, 放工後一時想不到在哪裡吃飯 (因為很多店也不開門), 於是在綿綿春雨下漫步, 來到一直想試的湯飽皇。時間尚早其實是沒有什麼客人, 所以可以慢慢看餐牌。錯別字的問題有食友已提過, 不贅, 但也真的看得人眉頭大皺。想留肚吃湯「飽」, 但也先來一點澱粉質吧; 牆上貼滿套餐的餐牌, 不太合心意, 簡單地要了一碗 菜煨麵 ($26) 算了。這裡標榜麵是手拉的, 出來也算是不俗, 起碼麵條條條分明, 泡湯久了也沒有糊成一團。可是麵條看來也太均稱了, 令人不禁有點懷疑是否手拉的。湯底算是清的, 味精有少少, 屬可接受範圍。伴以青翠切粒小棠菜, 作為打底是剛好了。一場來到, 當然要吃其鎮店之寶 上海湯包 ($26)! 一客四隻, 本來是用蒸籠上的, 因為我早知吃不完要拿走, 所以就著阿姐給我外賣盒了。湯包的外貌就像一隻隻大碼的小籠包 (大籠包?!), 每隻包子都用紙墊底, 不過後來發現對防止漏汁是沒有幫助的。當場趁新鮮熱辣先吃了一隻, 我怕會漏湯沒有夾起來, 所以大家看不到包子那搖搖欲墜卻又不破的奇景了。加點醋, 咬開包的頂部 (這部分比較硬), 即見肉丸一大顆, 以及金黃清澈

想留肚吃湯「飽」, 但也先來一點澱粉質吧; 牆上貼滿套餐的餐牌, 不太合心意, 簡單地要了一碗 菜煨麵 ($26) 算了。這裡標榜麵是手拉的, 出來也算是不俗, 起碼麵條條條分明, 泡湯久了也沒有糊成一團。可是麵條看來也太均稱了, 令人不禁有點懷疑是否手拉的。湯底算是清的, 味精有少少, 屬可接受範圍。伴以青翠切粒小棠菜, 作為打底是剛好了。

一場來到, 當然要吃其鎮店之寶 上海湯包 ($26)! 一客四隻, 本來是用蒸籠上的, 因為我早知吃不完要拿走, 所以就著阿姐給我外賣盒了。湯包的外貌就像一隻隻大碼的小籠包 (大籠包?!), 每隻包子都用紙墊底, 不過後來發現對防止漏汁是沒有幫助的。當場趁新鮮熱辣先吃了一隻, 我怕會漏湯沒有夾起來, 所以大家看不到包子那搖搖欲墜卻又不破的奇景了。加點醋, 咬開包的頂部 (這部分比較硬), 即見肉丸一大顆, 以及金黃清澈的湯汁。趕緊吸一口湯, 唔, 很鮮甜卻不肥膩 (相比起一般小籠包吃到一口油的湯汁而言), 但得小心湯汁瀉得到處都是!

吃不完拿回家的湯包, 還是暖暖的, 此時再吃另一隻, 湯仍然是流質的 (如果油份重的話已會凝結成白色的肥膏了, 很恐怖的), 湯色金黃, 照片也比較好拍啦。可以看到包子的皮是很透薄的, 不錯不錯。

住得近的, 買外賣回家吃會較好, 因為食物製作需時 (湯包是即叫即製的, 要等上一陣子), 而且吃得有點狼狽, 兼店內瀰漫著一股酸酸的怪味, 不算太舒適。(印象中不少舊式上海舖都有, 是什麼原因呢?)

Was in the neighborhood and decided to check out this restaurant recommended by HK Magazine in one of their Quarry Bay eats writeup. Their siu lung bao's, or aka tong bao dumplings were indeed very nice, big and soupy. The dumpling skin was just thick enough to hold the soup, not paper thin but definately not doughy.We also had their hot and sour "pao" rice which is rice with soup. Everything was nice, from service to the food, I would go again if I were in the neighborhood but prob wouldnt wait in line if there was one.

無意間發現不少人讚「小籠包」,便突意來吃。即蒸,送來,已見一隻,紙拓上盛滿湯,已穿了吧!?夾另一隻。大家所講,夾頂可成隻,原風不動夾起。可惜一隻本身穿了,我連續夾了兩隻,都夾穿左.....!唯有飲,留在紙拓上的湯,無乜味既!?連個肉餡,都係好淡,好肉食肉丸咁,一D小籠包味道都唔似咕喎!終於最後那隻,成功夾起,成隻食,今隻原汁原味喇卦!?....(d湯一d都唔油)但都係清湯味。好失望。皮是ok的,連個頂都好柔軟。再睇真,人地餐牌上,係叫湯飽,(我諗即有湯飲的飽)。唔係「小籠包」呀!我咁諗,係咪會服氣D呢!?

就係好食, 不過我唔知點解配這個....anyway個包好食。

蜜汁火腿荷葉飽

這4個
係比個荷葉包的, 這個應該係出面的蜜汁火方, 不過可惜, 我食過一間更難忘同好食的..係灣仔, 這個都好食...不過絕對比不上, 因為個火腿太乾....蓮子就好好食...
荷葉包..又熱又香又鬆軟又有吹感, 食落仲有淡淡的甜味, 除左outback我黑糖包, panda hotel的意廳的前菜包包之外, 最喜歡食的就是這個了。

茄汁蝦仁鍋巴

這個就不太好了, 個汁丸稀唔夠味, 鍋巴用米通整, 碎到夾唔起

食完之後非常飽, 不過everytime次次都有野令我地驚喜...今次係伴碟的荷葉飽...我鐘意

由於相片係用mobile影的, 而openrice for htc的software只可以上載相片, 所以食評同相分開左上載, 希望htc個個openrice software可以快d有得寫食評就好了。

今次只影左3張, 有賽旁蟹, 茄汁蝦仁鍋巴 同 荷葉包, 因為掛住食, 食晒先記得個蜜汁火腿荷葉飽同香酥鴨未影。
