My friends and I have spent the last three or four years going to the Taj Mahal Club every time we're at Chung King or hankering for some Indian food. The manager Mohammad has always ensured that we were served speedily. The food is always exceptional, the set dinner is well worth the money. They have an excellent tandoor, the popadum is seasoned with a great balance of salt, pepper, and red onion. The selection of curries have always left us extremely satisfied. Their vindaloo is spicy and hot, and their butter chicken is smooth. I highly recommend this restaurant, it's tucked above the main level of the shopping mall and a bit small but it's a hidden gem. continue reading

皇宮印度餐廳今次尼到尖沙咀重慶食正宗印度咖啡,朋友帶左我去最地度最正宗既皇宮印度咖啡餐廳,餐廳經理雖然不善中文,但係招呼友善,用心。正餐前有一點開胃小食印度胡椒脆餅上放了洋蔥,蕃茄,莞茜。可加上甜辣醬或酸辣青瓜醬享用。這個小食酸酸辣辣,洋蔥,莞茜和胡椒令小食非常香口好食。係一個出色既開胃菜。主菜我們點了Butter chicken 和mutton lamb,話說butter chicken 是西方人很喜歡的印度食品,它是加入了椰奶牛油既印度咖哩。餐廳既咖哩有香濃牛油味,口感很濃郁,加上啖啖無骨雞肉根直係送飯送nan既最佳之選。Mutton lamb 就是咖哩羊肉,咖哩羊肉中加了一些薑,這樣可以減少羊既穌味。配上佢地鬆軟可口既Nan 同 garlic nan,無得輸!為左試下印度甜品,經理介紹了Sweet cheese ball。這個是兩粒印度式既芝士,由於太甜既同奶味不是太豐富既關係唔係好食得出咩味。 continue reading
