一個下午，在午餐與晚餐之間，來到這間美心MX，叫來一個「燒鴨米 + 可樂」茶餐，稍解肚餓。美心快餐的出品，雖然未必很好，質素始終有一定的保証，數件不肥不瘦的燒鴨件，少許充當配角的蔬菜，加上相較粉麵來說較為健康的米粉，中規中矩的味道，不多不少的份量，已足以頂肚數個小時，為自己提供足夠的能量了。

差不多每個星期都會從免費報紙的一版看到有美心MX的coupon，每次的內容都一樣，不同的可能就只是那個有效日期吧早餐時段，每張coupon都可享$2折扣，但我走到美心MX，看看餐牌價錢，才發現是一個「誤會」因為我比較過同類型快餐店的早餐，同樣的內容，這裡都是較貴的例如別家的雞扒早餐是$24，這裡是$25.5，用coupon後就是$23.5... 很便宜吧？最後我還是選了雞扒早餐，$23.5碟子看來是過大了... 可能是多士轉了做蘿蔔糕的緣故...炒蛋炒得很乾身，沒蛋味 雞扒更離譜，有雪藏味! 先說明一下我本身對連鎖快餐店的早餐沒有偏見，我明白來到這些地方，所追求的不應該是很特別的製法或者很出眾的味道，但... 我容忍不了這可用「難食」來形容的早餐蘿蔔糕較為可取，熱咖啡水準比茶餐廳的求其咖啡高下次還是別為了那$0.5折扣而來了

I had a quick breakfast here in one of the early morning in TST. I had a "Classic breakfast" that contains thick white bread with butter, ham, egg, and spagetti with cantoness bbq pork in soup. I got milk tea for the beverage. The fried egg was surprisingly good. It was smooth and fresh but not greasy. But the bread with butter looks rare to me. The milk looks different than before. I remember that Canteen, another Maxim's fastfood brand name, serve good milk tea. It seems that MX use different black tea than Canteen!?The food, environment, service, and price was slightly better than Cafe de Carol, I think.

今日同老公黎美心食飯,唔太肚餓就嗌個叉瀨黎美心食叉燒,都冇咩希望架喇,是是但但填飽個肚就算,點知咁諗就有驚喜!!平時去某知名快餐店食叉瀨,次次都domd叉燒埋落碗粉道,大佬,蜜汁叉燒比你d湯沖走晒,仲點蜜汁呢?但呢道唔同既係分開上而個叉燒面頭d蜜汁真係又香又甜,好有bbq蜜糖feel,d叉燒仲要係瘦叉,非常靚仔,又唔係乾到硬,又唔係油到淋,岩岩好,真係好驚喜,個粉既上湯又岩岩好,唔太淡,又唔太咸,條菜都唔錯,唔苦不過最驚喜既係竟然bar枱係每個位都有個細電視機仔,好過癮喎,好少去美心,一去就發現d咁得意既野

Among Cafe de Carol, Fairwood, and MX, MX usually imposes the highest price for the similar item and the worse service . My colleague suggested to have quick lunch here. Both of us ordered the same "Signature Dish" - Baked Pork Chop with Tomato Sauce on Fried Rice. The ratio of sauce, pork chop, and fried rice was about 2:5:3. The sauce was so thick and greasy and I personally prefer more fried rice instead. The pork chop was pretty good, tender and juicy. The tomato chunk was big enough to make me feel happy. The price (HK$29) seems to have room to reduce because of unfriendly services and crowd dinning area. I think I will get a take away next time.
