今日同友人搭電車捉小精靈,到終站筲箕灣下車,難得來到,便周圍閒逛。走著走著,突然飄來一股雞蛋香,當聞到誘人味道,便不斷向前尋找。看到一群人聚集在小店<低調高手大街小食>前,羊群心理下,也心思思買一底雞蛋仔試下。雞蛋仔和格仔餅一底$16,2底$30元,令人有意欲各買一底。付錢後,店員會給你一張籌,等叫number,食客便不用全部擠擁在店前。看到Poster標榜著正宗雞蛋仔,我內心也有點期待它的味道。等了大約5分鐘,新鮮熱辣的雞蛋仔終於到手了! 手中拿著很熱燙的感覺,我拿近鼻子聞一聞,真的蛋香迫人! 我也欣賞雞蛋仔的外袋設計,一個個的透氣孔,可怕防止水蒸氣影響到雞蛋仔脆身的口感,十分貼心! 捏一口雞蛋仔,口感外脆內軟,而且內餡很豐富,絕對不是只有外皮薄脆那一種。內餡軟腍而富空氣感,蛋味濃郁,也有牛油香味,我也明白為何有這樣多捧場客。邊走著,邊捏著粒粒雞蛋仔,是最滋味不過的! 如果店中有多一兩種特別口味的雞蛋仔選擇更正。 continue reading

自從香港社會進步,小販絶無僅有,街頭小食不復當年勇!但高手永遠在民間,只要用心發掘,隨時有驚喜。筲箕灣東大街兩旁食肆林立,老字號新食力長龍店遍佈其中。唯獨一間小店偏處一隅,但依然生意不絶,賣嘅只係雞蛋仔同格仔餅。店係真正小店,一眼睇晒得三員猛將。兵貴精不貴多,食物都係,只專心賣雞蛋仔同格仔餅,工多藝熟,所以夠膽自稱高手。😆雞蛋仔$16全部即叫即整,只見阿姐氣定神閒,倒漿入模,反模換邊,開蓋起貨,一氣呵成。剛起貨雞蛋仔熱得滯水氣未過未夠脆,所以會用有窿紙袋裝住,方便疏氣令雞蛋仔唔怕焗住,快啲風乾變脆,擰一粒試吓,一句講晒,外脆內軟夠蛋香,而且裹面唔會得空氣,有半粒雞蛋仔(有肉)鬆化得嚟又充實。甜度適中,而且食晒成包都仲脆。難怪敢自稱高手,低調得嚟仍然受客人擁載。如果喺咁高超技巧下,可加入其他口味,如朱古力,咁就有機會成為高手高手高高手喇。 continue reading

有時會諗食雞蛋仔定係格仔餅?因為係間小店太出色,兩者很難去選擇,心情決定左今日係食格仔餅。小食要剛煮好就要食,尤其是格仔餅,外表小小脆,內裹少少軟,暖暖的餅令到牛油,砂糖,煉奶,花生醬都有溶化架感覺,呢幾樣成份係缺一不可,格仔餅係一定要有牛油,砂糖,練奶,花生醬先會咁好味,再加上果份童年架回憶,呢度架格仔餅真係拎滿分! continue reading
