I got to try these delights from Hutong because they were served on the aqualuna.These were my favourites.The vegetarian dumplings were delicious because it was tasty filled with glass vermicelli, spinach and carrots.The beancurd skin rolls were also good but on the sweet side. continue reading

朋友推薦的一家可以眺望港島的餐廳。去京菜館,當然得吃烤鴨,比較香脆,肉很酥,但和在北京吃的,味道和賣相都還是有點差別炒芥蘭就比較一般了,還是挺油的,這是清炒嗎?生菜包挺好吃的,香辣可口。最後的炒飯也不錯,裝在蒸籠里,看上去挺有意境的。這裡的環境自然沒得說,雖然看的不是維港夜景,但眺望對面展覽中心,灣仔、中環,海天一色,心曠神怡,白天也有白天的好。另一面可以看九龍城和碼頭海港邊的景色。餐廳裡裝飾了老北京的人力車,就連洗手間都配合胡同的主題,設計獨特,不過要補妝的MM們,估計就只能靠自己的化妝鏡了,梳妝台比較昏暗,整個餐廳都比較暗的。服務也很周到,不斷有服務員倒茶添水,點的炒飯也幫我們分了3碗,吃完了自己那份,蒸籠里還剩,服務員還會逐一問你,還要嗎?這裡的餐牌是中英文的,但中文名字有時候并沒有講清楚菜的內容,名字很有意思,但讓人看得不清不楚,是一定要懂英文才能點嗎?雖然大家都能看懂,但并不太周道 continue reading

親友回港,相約在此晚飯,出升降機見有一個具有特色的招牌,內裏擺放了仿古董的裝飾物和仿古傢具,坐位尚算寬闊,但燈光十分昏暗,為了不影響其他客人,所以沒有拍下內裏的環境相片。餐牌封面也設計獨特,但內裏有些餸名用上"包青天"、"見龍在田"等,就覺得太過花巧,令人有點費解。這晚點了六個餸,計有銀雪魚,京蔥烤鴨,話梅蝦,窩塌豆腐,干煸四季豆和上湯菜苗,其後再加了兩個飯,就是海鮮咸魚炒飯和瑤柱蛋白炒飯,食物質素尚算可接受,份量就十分輕型,味道一般偏淡,用料算是新鮮,但如果以此價錢純以食物計算,就真是有點不值,一定要計算享受其環境和服務才可接受,在我們離去時,看到店方安排了一名廚師作拉麵表演供參觀,我們當然興趣不大,但很多外國人還是挺有興趣,這也是成本之一呢。食物品評請參閱下列相片內: continue reading
