To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

Introduction
Ippudo's founder-Shigemi Kawahara (crowned "Ramen King") started his noodle business over 20 years ago in a small, humble restaurant with only 10 seats in Fukuoka. Ippudo has expanded to Japan, New York, Seoul and Singpapore since 1985. The key ingredient is the slow-cooked pork bone soup, combined with the right amount of toppings. 我們星期日等睇戲, 中間仲有少少時間食一個 high tea, 在 times square 旁揀了 "一風堂"真的不是第一次來幫襯了, 但我都是覺得一蘭味道再濃些....而且service 比一風堂好見到牆上推廣了很多餐廳的介紹, 早期就是推震店之寶了! 赤丸新味是以豬骨湯配上黑蒜油, 味噌, 博多幼麵及叉燒 叉燒很軟滑, 而且現上這個湯, 雖然portion 不大, 仍很滿足更開心的是旁邊所有配料任加, 而且很新鮮!  continue reading

相對於一蘭的拉麵,捨棄了朝聖的頭銜,我更愛一風堂。皆因每次的光顧,水準都令人驚喜,這麼多年從未失望。內裡環境雖然狹窄,坐得比較逼,依然無損我對它的熱誠。餐牌上的食物貴精不貴多,沙律,小食,串燒,拉麵,甜品一應俱全。而我當然為拉麵而來...白丸元味豬骨熬製的湯底特備濃稠,鮮味而不渴喉。至於拉麵,選擇了比較硬身,保持麺的質感。叉燒軟綿,入口肥而不膩。一口麺,一口湯,人生一大樂事也。拉麵真的很讚!溫泉蛋叉燒沙律溫泉蛋應該是拌在沙律菜上才是正確吃法,但是美得叫人不忍弄破,唯有整顆直接入口,讓蛋漿在口內爆開,蛋香更為濃郁。油炸後的拉麵,味道有點像童心點心麺。美中不足的是燒過後的叉燒,味道較咸而老。炸紫菜墨魚鬚彈牙爽口,新鮮熱辣辣...黑糖年糕非常迷你的年糕,軟糯帶少許微甜,若黑糖味再重一點會更好。 continue reading
