it's very horrible, we never tasted such disgusting sausages and pig knuckle in a German restaurant! They're over-cooked in boiling water first; by then, the susages were slightly pan-fried,, to be ""Oily sausages"", while the side dish led the knuckle's skin wet...As for the service, it's also disappointing! We'd prefer to having dinner at home if we're told that this restaurant is such rubbish, wasting our time …… continue reading

 和老爸食過這店的灣仔分店,今次選近他家一點,嘗試西灣河分店,一早訂了檯,準時到達,聽說已全院滿座,好彩訂咗位,否則無得食。坐定定就先點飲品,德國白酒出名,我當然要白酒先,個人喜歡較甜的白酒,這店只有一款偏甜的德國白酒,果味甚重,入口夠香,不錯。跟著點菜,今晚頭檯有德國式雜菜沙律配紅菜頭,洋蔥,蕃茄,溫室青瓜及香脆松子仁和特選德國凍肉拼盆配芝士,德式芝士醬及麵包,主菜揀了秘制德國咸豬手配香滑薯蓉及酸椰菜,羅勒番茄雞柳扁意粉和一個意式水牛芝士薄餅(部份菜名都幾長)。德國式雜菜沙律配紅菜頭,洋蔥,蕃茄,溫室青瓜及香脆松子仁,這沙律的特色是全部材料都切碎,易於伴勻,入口清新,不會太酸,除了疏菜的爽口外,還有松子仁的脆口,口感變化豐富。特選德國凍肉拼盆配芝士,德式芝士醬及麵包,有多款凍肉都一般可接受,芝士就得四片車打芝士,算是可以,最令我驚喜的是德式芝士醬,用了起碼三種芝士混打而成,味道咸香,搽麵包一流之餘,送紅酒更又是另一番風味,所以後來我又為此而加了一杯較濃的阿根庭紅酒,這酒酒身夠厚,有果香之餘不太酸,入口果味濃,順滑也不錯。秘制德國咸豬手配香滑薯蓉及酸椰菜,大大隻豬手,勉強算是做到皮脆肉嫩,向面表皮甚脆,可惜向下的皮頗硬,如果喜歡食卜卜脆中式燒肉皮的人一定喜歡,否則會嫌它略乾,也醃得夠入味,內裏的肉有肉汁頗嫩,不會過火太老,尤其近骨位置更是淋軟,老爸食到讚不絕口,更說喜歡食其根位,真識食,根位軟淋之餘有咬口,又多骨膠原,當然好味。羅勒番茄雞柳扁意粉,原餐牌內是長通粉,應我們要求改為扁意粉,蕃茄打成蓉,煮入意粉,原是不錯的做法,但可惜調味太濃,略嫌過酸,而雞肉又煮得過了火,太鞋,反而意粉的軟硬度就掌握得不錯,有咬口得來不太硬。意式水牛芝士薄餅,這店的薄餅底稍嫌厚一點,變成口感不夠脆,但勝在簡單,水牛芝士加上羅勒夠清香,混合蕃茄的鮮甜,入口感覺算是配合得體。最後當然小不了甜品,今晚是粟子蓉雪糕,個人感覺無特別,但外觀不錯。 continue reading

講到食德國咸豬手, 好多人(包括我)都會第一時間醒起King Ludwig, 原來另一餐廳集團Cafe Deco旗下都有德國餐廳Berliner, 今次就揀咗鯉景灣分店食. 原來餐廳係同wildfire連埋一齊, 餐廳內一半(+側門)係wildfire紅紅烈火裝飾, 另一半(正門)係Berliner裝修, 不過無格格不入感覺, 大家都係木枱椅黑黑暗暗.今晚我們一家4人, order了兩個appertizer + 兩個main, 一杯1L啤酒. 基本上所有食物都好味又大碟, 食到好飽.  Chef's Salad / Assorted Cold Cut Platter / Garlic Prawns and Scallops pizza / Roasted Pork Knuckle continue reading
