外國好友擾嚷著說想吃香港煲仔飯,而且還指定要去油麻地這家四季煲仔飯,說感覺很香港很地道。我自己其實從來沒試過,因為家附近也有很好吃的所以不會特地去油麻地。好吧這次奉陪到底,工作完就去吃這家四季煲仔飯。要吃地道的港式風味,環境不能太介意,這家餐廳比大排檔環境要好一點,裡面還有很大冷氣,餐具要跟本地風俗用茶水沖洗以後才放心食用(笑)。我點了排骨配臘腸煲仔飯。建議大家想好快點點,因為真的是立刻出爐所以要等20分鐘。排骨很多塊,臘腸有一整條。加上醬油很好吃,排骨不會很肥膩。有飯焦,煮得軟硬適中,非常不錯!我們還點了腐乳炒空心菜。這邊是把腐乳放在菜一旁,讓我們要多少沾多少。空心菜很爽口,是直接水煮的,感覺不會很油比較健康。帶外國朋友很適合來這邊體驗地道香港風味! continue reading

Ordered:- Fried Oyster Pancake.- Preserved Sausage Rice (Lap Cheong, as they ran out of Lap Mei).- Pork Ribs Rice (More popular choice).- Tung Choi vegetables.The Lap Cheong rice was disappointing as there was also just two sausages in a clay pot rice and the quality of the meat version (which is the lighter colour) was bland and tasteless and the intenstines version (which is the darker coloured but more flavourful and juicy).The ribs was the more popular choice in the restaurant and I can see why as it was more succulent and the meat falls off the bone without being too tough or chewy. The oyster pancake was quite nice, meaty oysters in a fried batter. It did leave an oily after taste, so maybe would havebeen better if they used better oil or dried it better.Complimented the rice with Tung Choi vegetables with fermented bean curd sauce.I much perfer Kwan Kee Claypot Rice on HK island in comparison. continue reading
