The blue Monday is always an enemy to a people who working in Central. To find out good restaurant for a chat with good friend, is a therapy. My friend brought me to this Lebanese bar and restaurant this Monday. The restaurant is located in Soho, which the environment is full of joy. At the entrance, the decoration and smell already made me in the Middle East. The wall, the seats, the sofa and even the utensils are all in the middle East style. Waitress and waiters here are very nice, especially the girl, who tried her best to introduce different kinds of dishes to us, given both of us know nothing about Lebanese cuisine. We first tried the Hummus with Pica Bread. The sauce is wonderful and the purée is extremely smooth. Together with the hot and soft pica bread, it was excellently match so we have finished them all Then we ordered the Fattoush Salad. It encompasses several fruit in promegrantee sauce. I would say the fruit is fresh, the capsicum intermingled in between making it very funny. There are also some crispy small chips in the salad so as to increase the chewing feel ! Wonderful ! For the main dishes, we ordered Beef Kebab and Chicken Musahab. The beef is very soft, not stiff, and juicy. In particular, when you dipped the beef into the white sauce, it brought up the taste to another level. Together with beef, there is a bowl of sticky rice. I would use the “God’s gift” to say this rice. It is not hard, sticky and full of spicy and condiment. My friend guessed there is Cinnamon added, albeit with denial by the waitress! But trust me, it is very very good one! The chicken is done well, especially the skin is very crispy., and also full of flavouring. However, I would deduct marks from it as it is a little bit salty and the chicken flesh is mildly rough... I also ordered a pineapple juice. It is very concentrated. Not an ordinary one. Ah...one more point, I noted there is a bar ad many people would a break and enjoy the drinks and snacks in the sofa. Definitely it is a happy Monday to swap my blues away. Though I m not a high fan of Middle East cuisine, I would definitely purchase again, especially the smiles from the waiter and waitress are unforgettable!
