I love to eat and cook for friends and family and try new restaurants. When I travel to a new city, I find the local market and check out what they sell and also compare prices. I ALWAYS take my camera into McDonald and take a photo of their menu. It is really fun and interesting see what they serve that is unique to that country and to compare their prices worldwide. So far, the cheapest meal is in Bulgaria! I also buy a coffee mug from each city that I have visited -- so far I have over 120 mugs in my collection!! If they do not sell a coffee mug, then I will buy something that has the city's name on it.
